The Wilburton Cardinals Football enjoyed a successful Saturday after winning their match against Fulbourn and celebrating the debut of their new kit.
The Under 14 Boys team proudly unveiled their "iconic" kit, featuring the team's red and white colours, in a home league game.
The young footballers were thrilled with the kit, especially after two promotion-winning seasons.
The team won 6-3 against Fulbourn and remain unbeaten in both the league and the cup so far this season.
The new kit was sponsored by two local businesses, Freshwater Estates and IWire.
Freshwater Estates, a family-run company providing property development services throughout Cambridgeshire and Suffolk since 2009, is known for its uniquely designed homes and personalised customer service.
Committed to supporting local initiatives and fostering community spirit, a representative from Freshwater Estates said: "We are delighted to support the Wilburton Cardinals and contribute to the development of young talent in our area."
IWire, a local company specialising in Electrical Installation, Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging, and Air Conditioning, has built a reputation for reliability and quality.
An IWire spokesperson commented: "Investing in our youth is investing in our future. We are proud to be part of this initiative and look forward to seeing the team succeed."
Anyone interested in further sponsorship opportunities or interested in joining the team should contact the team manager, Adam, on 07715 761379.
