The City of Ely Swimming club recently enjoyed great success at the Swim England East Region Open Water Championships.

The club came away with two National Age Group qualifiers; three regional medals and five county medals.

There was a family feel to the event as well with the Schultz father and son duo and the Pillow sisters all competing.

Alex Pashley and Jacob Schultz both qualified for the National Championships in the 2km race for their age group, with Alex winning the county silver medal and Jacob winning county bronze.

Barry Schultz and Amy Sole both won regional gold and county gold in their age groups for the 2km race.
