Pupils from Ely St John's lifted the cup at an inter school mixed football tournament last week.
Organised by ActivePlay Education and held at Ely Outdoor Sports Association, 12 teams from nine schools across East Cambridgeshire - Ely St John’s, Fordham, Isle of Ely, Mepal & Witcham, Millfield, Rackham, Robert Arkenstall, Stretham and Wilburton Primary Schools - all took part.
With the winners of the three leagues and the highest-placed second team qualifying to the semi finals, Ely St John’s played Fordham 2s and Stretham played Mepal & Witcham for a place in the final.
The final between Ely St John's and Mepal & Witcham went to a penalty shoot out when the score after extra time remained at 0-0.
Ely St John's were the eventual winner.
In addition to the tournament cup, medals were awarded to a player from each team who showed the best sportsmanship and teamwork during the tournament.
The referees also awarded a medal to the player that showed the best sportsmanship in their league.
