Ely tennis club 10is Academy has celebrated a week of success on the court.
The Ely based tennis club not only saw teams dominate the National League and Cambridgeshire Summer League, but also welcomed a tennis star.
The under-10 division 1 team took to the courts with composure and precision, securing a league victory for their first match of the season against Cambourne with a 4-2 scoreline.
Not to be outdone, the under-16 team, competing in the top division, also claimed victory against Cambourne.
This marked their second win in as many matches, signalling a promising start to their season.
Meanwhile, the 10is Academy men 1 and men 2 teams demonstrated their prowess in the Cambridgeshire Summer League, with team recording victories that underscored a perfect start to their league campaigns.
Particularly impressive were men 1, who have been a model of consistency and skill and yet to drop a set in their matches.
The week's crowning moment came on Sunday May 19 when Louis Cayer MBE, visited the academy.
Cayer, who works with the likes of Andy Murray and Joe Salisbury, spent the day hosting clinics for both junior and adult members of the 10is Academy.
Louis has been advising the coaching program at the academy since its inception in 2021.
His contributions help bridge the gap between emerging techniques and time-tested strategies, enriching the academy's approach to training and player development.
His visit brought new insights and suggestions, further cementing his role as a pivotal figure in the development of the club's framework.
