The Robins hosted Walsham Le Willows in the Eastern Counties Premier league on November 18.
In the first half, Walsham started strongly with their left back Cooper looking very dangerous with surging runs.
After 20 minutes, Ely started to assert themselves earning two corners in quick succession.
Ely had three chances in the first half (Charlie Castle) (Aaron Hamer) and (Ben Harnwell), but it was 0-0 at the break.
Walsham created more chances at the start of the second half but Ben Smith missed out after a searing drive went just over the bar.
On 82- and 86-minutes Charlie Iglesias had two great shots both well saved by Charlie Congreve in the Ely goal.

Both sides lacked the killer instinct to take three points.
A good turnout of 161 fans.
Ely City are back in action away to Lakenheath on Saturday, November 25 at 3pm.
