Haddenham Rovers Colts under 15 Girls team are celebrating a fantastic season, winning the Cambridgeshire League Cup and finishing as runners-up in their division.
The Haddneham girls' team were unbeaten in the group stages of the Cambridgeshire League Cup, finishing top of their group, beating Thorney in the semi-final and defeating Histon 0-1 in a very tight, nail-biting cup final at Newmarket Town Stadium.
In the Girls A-League, Haddenham finished only six points behind the champions Leverington, with their determined and enthusiastic attitudes contributing to some great performances.
The girls won 15 matches out of 18, only losing to the league winners during a remarkable run of form.
The team scored 54 goals from 8 different players, had a goal difference of 20 and managed to keep five clean sheets, highlighting the great team performances on display each week.
Team manager, Sarah Roper, said: "It has been a real pleasure and honour to be their coach for the last six years.
"It has been a great journey, they have all developed so much as individual players and as a team, and I am so proud of their achievements to date which is down to their hard work, efforts, commitment to training as well as matches and for their amazing team spirit."
