Two youngsters will take part in their first competitive bouts at an amateur boxing club show.
Baily Mathews, 13, and Jayden Owen, 15, will feature in Haddenham and Ely ABC’s show on March 25, when fighters will face opponents from clubs in the likes of London and Birmingham.
Mathews is fighting in the 70kg class while Owen will fight in the 45kg category.
Speaking of Mathews, trainer Mike Sawyer said: “He has been with me for about a year and is a very strong boy.”
The card will also include Terry Mills, who won the Amateur Boxing Alliance [ABA] National Schools Championship 57kg crown earlier this year.
He will face another national champion but at the weight above.
