Two suspected hare coursers were "dispersed" from Cambridgeshire near Soham on Saturday.
Officers from Cambridgeshire Police's Rural Crime Action Team were called to the scene and gave chase after reports of hare coursing and damage to a field on December 1.
A spokesperson for the force said: "They gave chase and detained them all.
"Their dogs were seized and taken to police kennels.
"The males were all interviewed, issued with Community Protection Notice and Community Protection Warning, and dispersed from the county.
"A court file has now been submitted which includes asking for kennel cost, compensation and forfeiture of the dogs."
