Eight teams of youngsters from school years 5 and 6 students competed in a mixed tag rugby tournament.
The event, organised by ActivePlay Education, took place on November 28 at the Ely Outdoor Sports Association.
Despite a frosty start, the pitch soon thawed, and matches began, refereed by young leaders from Ely College.

Ely St John’s faced Isleham 2s, and Ely St Mary’s played Isleham 1s in the semi-finals.
Isleham 1s emerged victorious in the closely contested final against Ely St John’s, winning the tournament cup.
Medals were awarded to the winning team, and one player from each team was recognised as 'Player of the Tournament' for their team spirit and sportsmanship.
Caroline Morton of ActivePlay Education said: "It was fantastic to see so many teams taking part in the tournament and the children really enjoying playing tag rugby."
