An event was held to celebrate the lighting of an advent star at St Andrew's Church in Witchford.
The star sits at the top of the church tower and the event was held on Saturday, which was St Andrew's Day.
Volunteers George Jellicoe, Keith Dolan, and Keith McCourt set up the star and Peter Norman provided the remote control and decorated the lynch gate with lights to help with this festive occasion.
Church warden, Rosemary Westwell, read a short speech about St Andrew followed by a short prayer. Then everyone joined in the countdown and the star was lit.
