Ely City Hockey Club hosted two Junior hockey festivals in November with the aim of showcasing the talent and enthusiasm of youngsters in East Cambridgeshire.
The event took place at the Ely Outdoor Sports Association and saw various age groups taking part.
The under-14 boys kicked-off the month with a round-robin tournament, competing against seven other teams from Cambridge City, Cambridge Nomads, Newmarket, Saffron Walden and St Neots hockey clubs.

"Spectators were treated to brilliant hockey, with fantastic displays of both defensive and attacking skills throughout the matches," said Julia Gilbert from Active Play Education which organises the events.
"And last weekend, Ely hosted a festival for the under-8s, under-10s, and under-12s with teams from Newmarket and March Town hockey clubs. Despite tricky, blustery conditions, the young players delivered strong performances, with plenty of smiles and great teamwork on display."
