The Men's 2 team took a 6-2 victory at Longstanton, and the Men's 1 team secured an 8-0 win over Royston.

The newly formed Men's 3 team celebrated their first major win with a 7-1 victory against Papworth 3.

Captain Chris Hemmings said: "The guys played smart, focused tennis and adapted well to some challenging opponents.

“We’re a small club, but our players are showing great dedication and proving we can compete.”

10is Academy is now looking to secure a permanent base to continue its growth.

The club has submitted a planning application for a dedicated tennis venue near Ben’s Yard.

Currently based on King’s Ely school grounds, the academy has outgrown these shared facilities.

A permanent venue would allow the academy to expand its coaching and community programs.

Academy director Sebastien Scaux said: “We’ve come a long way, but to truly secure our future, we need a dedicated home.

“A permanent facility with full-time courts would enable us to make a deeper impact, reaching more people and creating a lasting space where East Cambridgeshire residents can come together through tennis.

"We’re reaching out to the community for support and hoping we can make this happen together.”

The academy hopes to offer a full range of specialist coaching across East Cambridgeshire, including sessions for juniors, seniors, advanced players, beginners, men and women, and individuals with special educational needs (SEN).
