Details of this year's Remembrance Day and Armistice Day events in Soham have been revealed.
Members of the local Royal British Legion plan to march off from Soham Village College at 10.30am.
The parade will head to the memorial for 11am, where there will be a wreath-laying and minute's silence.
The march will then continue to St Andrew' Church for a short service and tea and biscuits.
Mike Donaghue, chairman of the Soham branch of the Royal British Legion, said: "It's important that people continue to pay their respects because the after effects of the war need to be remembered.
"We also have to remember that the younger generation still need support, and the cost of providing support to veterans is rising every year.
"It's vital that people keep contributing and, although we get a tremendous amount, it's never enough to fill the coffers.
"So it really is a case of every penny counts."
Pauline Paines, organiser of the local Poppy Appeal, said: "At the moment, we are on par with last year, meaning we have already raised close to £2,000, which is very good for Soham."
