Details of this year's Remembrance Day service in Littleport have been revealed.
The parade will take place on Sunday November 10. For those who wish to join, the RBL will march off from the Littleport Ex Serviceman's Club at 10.20am.
The church service will be at St Georges Church and the RBL is advising that attendees are seated by 10.45am at the latest.
The wreath-laying will then take place at the Littleport War Memorial after the church service. All are welcome.
For all those who will be laying wreaths on the Sunday, and standard bearers, there will be a rehearsal at St Georges Church on Thursday November 7 at 7pm.
The RBL will also be paying its respects on Monday November 11 at 11am at the Littleport War Memorial, when the children from both primary schools will be laying their wreaths, and at the Nightall Memorial outside the library.
Tea and coffee will be served in The Barn afterwards.
This year, the Royal British Legion is also collecting for the Poppy Appeal at the Wisbech and Main Street Co Ops in Littleport.
There are also boxes in local shops and business premises.
Martin Goodearl, chair of the Littleport branch and also Poppy Appeal organiser, said: "It's important that people continue to remember that these people gave their all to sacrifice so that we may be free from tyranny and have domestic life as the way we wish as British people.
"We are very grateful for all the donations that the people of the town give and they always seem to give generously," he said, adding that he cleans the memorial and mows around it to hoover all the grass off of the path.
"We always raise at least £8,000 every year," he said, adding that the Littleport RBL currently has half a dozen poppy sellers and that they do 12 shifts every day.
