Cambridgeshire Police officers had the unusual, but "essen-shell", job of clearing cockles off of a roundabout in East Cambridgeshire last week.
Officers attended a crash in Ely last week involving a lorry hitting a low bridge at Queen Adelaide.
The lorry driver carried on driving with a damaged trailer, which then split, and spilt a tonne of cockles across the roundabout at the A142 Stuntney Causeway.
The driver was reported for driving without due care.
