Cheese-lovers lined the streets of Ely on Saturday as the city's newest shop opened its doors.
Victoria's Cheese welcomed its first customers on November 2, and shop owner Victoria Dunthorne said that she didn't leave the counter for over eight hours.
"Thank you to everyone who visited and more importantly because you stood in the drizzle for more than an hour at times to get to the counter," she said.
"The end of the queue finally went through the shop at 5pm on Saturday and I didn’t even stop to drink or go to the loo for the whole time.
"It was almost as busy on Sunday and the same again, non-stop, from 10am to 4pm, there was a constant queue."
She added: "My heart is full and I've loved every second of cutting, wrapping and chatting cheese.
"I am very grateful to the people of Ely and beyond - some customers travelled from across Norfolk and Suffolk, with one even coming from the Scottish Highlands.
"I am very very happy and a little overwhelmed with the response, especially as several cheeses have sold out."
The ribbon on Victoria's Cheese was cut by Becky Enefer from Wilton Farm Norfolk and Victoria's daughter attended to take photos on the morning too.
Earlier in the week, Victoria hosted a preview event with family, friends, fellow cheese makers and members of the Visit Ely team.
Among those in attendance were Reverend Ann Williams from the Church of St Peter-in-Ely and live sketch artist Elm Clarke.
Victoria's Cheese is located at 28a High Street in Ely, the former home of Cherry Hill Chocolates and next to The Eel Catcher's Daughter.
