An Ely childminder and Take That superfan is once again planning her annual fundraising efforts for children’s causes.

Now Sue Smith is back home after an epic four-day Take That event in Malta, she is organising her various fundraisers.

This year she has decided to fundraise for BBC Children In Need and Child Bereavement UK.

Treetops Soft Play in Lancaster Way, Ely, will host an event for children in the area on November 14 from 10am.

The Lane Academy dance school will also be offering a music and dance session for the youngsters.

The event will be £5 per child. Tickets for the event's raffle are also available at Treetops for £1 each.

“All proceeds from the entrance fees and raffle will be donated to the charities.”

As well as the fundraising in Ely, Sue also runs online raffles for the Take That fandom community.

These prizes include various Take That memorabilia and she always attempts to get hold of signed items, particularly from her favourite member Gary Barlow.

One of this year’s prizes is afternoon tea for four at the singer songwriter’s former home Delamere Manor in Cheshire. It will be included in both her community and fandom raffles.

The online raffles are available on her Facebook page called "Sue’s Children in Need/CBUK 2024" at https://shorturl.at/4lXMP
