A church will host a Christmas tree festival celebrating creativity and community spirit.
All Saints’ Church, Landbeach, will see its Grade I listed building come alive with unique Christmas trees and wreaths on November 30 and December 1.
Organised by the Friends of All Saints’ Landbeach Community Group (FOALS), the festival aims to spread festive cheer and support the church as a community hub.
The event welcomes all to participate, with trees ranging from tiny to robust, recycled to boxy, all lit by battery-powered lights.
Expect to see repurposed naan bread wrappers and egg boxes, alongside new takes on the "Chemis-Tree" theme.
Community groups, families, and friends are busy crafting decorations from various materials, including card, foil, textile, and metal, using techniques such as decoupage, painting, print, and crochet.
Wreaths will also feature, and organisers hope local businesses and florists will join in the fun.
Entry is free, but donations to community projects are appreciated.
The festival promises to be a joyous, music-filled event, with refreshments and the chance to vote for your favourite tree.
