A charity supporting deaf people received a donation from the Ely Inner Wheel.
The money was presented to the charity Hearing Dogs for the Deaf by the club’s president, Carole Peacock, to new district chairwoman, Heather Hewson.
The donation was given at the club’s monthly meeting.
Ms Hewson, whose sister was born deaf, then gave a speech about the importance of the charity.
Ely Inner Wheel meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month.
