The cause of a fire at an East Cambridgeshire fish and chip shop has been revealed.
Crews from Ely and Chatteris, along with crews from Downham Market and Outwell in Norfolk, were called to Rumbles Fish Bar on Main Street in Littleport at 8.07pm yesterday (October 4).
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving a building used as a take away restaurant.
"Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and a jet. They cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan and returned to their stations by 11.30pm.
"There are no reports of any injuries.
"The cause of the fire was accidental."
