A local tennis academy is celebrating its third anniversary with regular family events, launching with the "Autumn Tennis Harvest".

The 10is Academy in Ely is diversifying its offerings to cater to both members and non-members alike, with an emphasis on family-oriented activities.

Since its inception, the academy has brought innovative programs to the tennis community in Ely and continues this approach with new themed events.

The inaugural event taking place this September, will offer autumn-themed games such as "Pumpkin Smash" and "Corn Maze Rally."

Each interactive session, lasting for an hour and a half, offers an enjoyable means of spending quality family time while keeping active.

The pricing structure allows both members and non-members to participate, with a charge of £10 covering one parent and a child, and a 50 per cent discount for club members.

Following this inaugural event, families can anticipate a diverse range of themed happenings, including "Tennis Trick or Treat" in October, "Bonfire Tennis Night" in November, and "Holiday Tennis Wonderland" in December.

Previously, the academy hosted family events three times annually, exclusively for members.

However, their popular response prompted the academy to make them regular features, extending an invitation to all families.

All proceeds from these family events will fund tennis coaching within local schools, reflecting the academy's community commitment and motto, "Creating a playful world through tennis for everyone in Ely."

Aside from these events, 10is Academy offers a broad array of classes spanning all ability groups from junior to adult beginners.
