The "enchanting" setting of the Dean's Garden, Ely Cathedral, provided a fitting backdrop for KD Theatre Productions' swashbuckling open-air production of Treasure Island.
Daniel Bell, the show’s producer and director, said: “It’s always magical to bring a show to the enchanting Dean’s Garden. It really is Ely’s very own secret garden!
“We’d like to thank everyone at Ely Cathedral, and of course, all our audiences who came to see the show.
"The production captivated audiences of all ages and was met with glowing reviews and sunny weather!"
With the success of Treasure Island still fresh, KD Theatre Productions is now full steam ahead in preparations for their 12th consecutive professional pantomime at The Maltings, Ely, this Christmas.
This year’s pantomime, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, promises to be another spectacular event, bringing festive joy to the community from December 13, 2024, to January 5, 2025.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at www.kdtheatre.co.uk.
