He has participated in workshops on public speaking hosted by BodyTalk UK.

Lead by former BBC presenter Alina Jenkins, Sergeant Wallman found the psychology behind body language in public speaking fascinating.

He has been actively involved in improving accessibility within the scheme.

Part of his role with other representatives was to create a fresh Welcome Pack for those working towards their Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award.

The pack focuses on the Residential Section of the Award which offers experience in a new environment and with new people for five days.

Sergeant Wallman has also participated in the launch of the Youth Voice Survey at the Houses of Parliament.

The survey, created by the previous Ambassadors, gains insight into the political engagement of young individuals aged between 14-24.

A highlight for Sergeant Wallman was his networking opportunities with Members of Parliament and executives of multiple charities.

His conversations with Ruth Marvel, CEO of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme, were particularly beneficial.

More opportunities, including representing the DofE Scheme at the upcoming political party conferences, fundraising for a half marathon, and possible international representation for the organisation, are on the horizon for Sergeant Wallman.
