An Ely childminder says it is “a privilege” to be awarded the “Outstanding” grade once again in her most recent Ofsted inspection.

Sue Smith runs Sweet Peas Childcare and this latest result means she has achieved the best possible grade every time the education regulator has visited.

In her glowing report, inspector Louisa Taylor describes Sue as a “conscientious childminder” and praises how she interacts with the children in her care.

She was also commended for the activities she organises, how she speaks positively about the children around them and how she helps the youngsters settle into her setting.
