Every Sunday morning, Ely Country Park comes alive with eager children participating in the local junior parkrun.
Organised by the national parkrun UK and its major partner, Vitality health, the free event has become a popular pastime for families in the area.
Central to the event's operations is Janette Palmer, the main Factota, and her team of dedicated volunteers.
After last Sunday's run, she expressed her pleasure at the increasing number of kids participating but voiced a need for additional parental volunteers.

She said: “We are pleased so many youngsters are increasingly taking part - but we would like more parents to volunteer.”
The day starts with an official briefing, warm-ups, and a jovial run to the start line at 9am.
It isn't a competition, but rather a fun start to a Sunday.
The park begins filling up from 8.30am, and everyone, especially first-timers willing to volunteer occasionally, are warmly invited.
Children aged between 4-14 get a recorded time, but the emphasis is purely on fun.
