WADS (Witchford Amateur Dramatics Society) presented a delightful evening of a variety of music by people of all ages.

It provided an opportunity for many young musicians to try out their talent.

These performers were confident entertainers and the audience warmed to them considerably.

The evening was planned as a fundraiser for WADSY's (WADS youth section) production at the end of September: Legally Blonde Jr.

The programme was packed with singers and performers, the youngest being six-year old Teddy Blakey who gave a performance on the piano.

Other performers of note were Hugo D'Cunha who sang and accompanied on the guitar, his own composition 'In my Life' - he should go far and Rudi Girling on his electric guitar.

Easy listening was provided by singers whose competent voices lulled us into appreciating the moving world that their songs represented.

Among those of special note were Dylan Cardwell, Toby Webber, Rose Ward, Zack Rhys, Antonia Mason, Charlie and Shelley, Courtney West, Sammy Webb and Dani Wallis.

Providing further variety was a group of highly entertaining adults who provided various humorous sketches such as the 'Cinema' and 'Invisible Bench'.

Alex Lee, a competent comedian, added more laughter.

There were also numerous games and competitions.

These included the opportunity to try to open a book with a spatula to find a £20 note and heads and tails.
