Two site managers have been recognised with awards for their exceptional work in home development.

Mike Rose and Robert Evans, responsible for Willow Woods and Quantum Fields developments respectively, have won Pride in the Job Quality Awards from the National House Building Council (NHBC).

Mr Rose and Mr Evans are employed by Vistry Group's East Anglia region.

The company combines Linden Homes, Bovis Homes and Countryside Homes.

The NHBC quality awards have been recognising brilliance in construction for the past four decades, acknowledging industry professionals who deliver premium homes with dedication and leadership.

Both award recipients credited their success to their diligent teams at Willow Woods and Quantum Fields.

Robert Evans, 33, from Ely, expressed his joy at receiving the award in an overwhelmingly positive manner.

He said: “This is not just an award earned by me – this award was earned by the whole team at Quantum Fields.

"We have a strong team here, we keep each other's spirits high and this helps us to deliver high-quality homes.

"This is my first role as a site manager and the support which I have received in my time at Vistry has been incredible and something I am really grateful for.”

Mike Rose, 46 from Norwich, said: “Without the assistant site manager, George Brockhouse and the rest of the site team at Willow Woods, this would not have been possible.

"We have all pushed the boat out, working harder than before to meet higher standards.

"Here at Vistry, they really do support you in ensuring we have everything on site that we need to succeed.”

The Pride in the Job Quality Awards are only the initial step towards further accolades.

All award winners are put forward for the Pride in the Job Seal of Excellence and regional awards, the winners of which will be declared later this year.
