A driver who crashed into an East Cambridgeshire home gave a roadside breathalyser reading almost three times the legal limit for drink driving, police have revealed.
One of the occupants of the property in Pound Lane, Isleham, received treatment for cuts to their face from glass.
The incident happened on Friday evening (June 28) just before 9:30pm.
A post on the Policing East Cambridgeshire Facebook page explains the driver was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
He blew 96 in the roadside breath test, almost three times the legal limit of 35 mgs per 100mls of breath.
As the driver was taken to hospital as a precaution, a police spokesperson explained he was de-arrested and will be interviewed at a later date.
