A generous donation of tools has been made to charity by a skilled former missionary.
Ely Rotary Club said they were honoured to accept many items on behalf of Tools With A Mission (TWAM).
The sizeable contribution came from ex-Missionary Keith, who lives in St Ives.
As a once active missionary worker in Brazil, he had used these tools in both his professional and personal life.
Unfortunately, health problems now mean he can no longer pursue his woodworking hobby.
He expressed a strong desire that these tools would be used to help impoverished people in developing countries.
This was to enable them to acquire skills, sustainable jobs, and to be able to feed their families daily.
With considerable influence nationwide, TWAM predominately work out of their Ipswich base.
These donated supplies will be rejuvenated, organised into kits corresponding to different trades, and then distributed.
For those interested, TWAM and Ely Rotary Club seek more donations as they continue to assist those less fortunate.
