A referendum on the Mepal Neighbourhood Plan has been set.
The ballot is due to take place on June 13 and will ask residents to vote on whether they want East Cambridgeshire District Council to use the Mepal neighbourhood plan to help it decide planning applications in the area.
Mepal Parish Council has been preparing a Neighbourhood Plan for its area over the past two years.
It submitted the plan to East Cambridgeshire District Council for independent examination, which included a final round of public consultation.
There are 852 registered voters in the Mepal Ward.
Verification and the actual count for the referendum will take place at Mepal Village Hall.
