Ely hypnotherapist Dan Regan is celebrating after winning a major gold award at this year's SME Ely Business Awards.

Anxiety expert Dan was awarded the title of Business Person of the Year at the awards night that was held at The Maltings on Tuesday May 21.

The award goes to a business person who shows outstanding initiative, boldness and imagination in their business, as well as sound management practices.

The award was presented to Dan by Seema Solanki from Ely solicitors, Fraser Dawbarns, who sponsored the award.

Dan also won the silver award for innovation, sponsored by Thorlabs, at the awards.

It continues a remarkable run of success at the awards for Dan, who has won awards for 'service excellence' in each of the previous three years.
