Cambridgeshire Constabulary have confirmed that they have found a body in the search for a missing man.
Robin Haines, 84, was reported missing to police on Friday night (May 3) after he failed to return to his home in Little Shelford.
Today, May 6, a body was discovered at Jesus Lock, on the River Cam, in Cambridge, at about 11:30am.
Formal identification is yet to take place but Mr Haines' family have been informed.
They have expressed their gratitude for the support from people on social media.
The death is not being treated as suspicious. The case will be passed to the coroner.
