Fire crews were called to Fordham Road in Soham on April 28 after reports of a fire in the open.
A crew from Burwell arrived at the scene at 12:27am, where they found a car well alight.
Firefighters used breathing apparatus and hose reels to extinguish the fire, and they returned to the station at 1:50am.
The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate.
