Vistry Homes East Anglia could update its plans to build over 160 new homes on the northern edge of Sutton.
Plans were approved by East Cambridgeshire District Council back in 2022 for 164 new homes to be built on land off Mepal Road.
However, a new application has now been submitted by the developer, Vistry Homes East Anglia, to the district council with changed proposals for the development.
The application still asks for permission to build 164 homes, but the proposed layout of the housing has been reorganised in some places.

The plots for the potential nine-self-build homes have also been moved to be included all together in a section to the north west of the development.
In the latest plans the developer said the homes will be energy efficient and will include solar panels.
The developer is also proposing to provide all of the homes with an electric car charging point.
The plans set out water efficiency measures, such as low flow showers and taps, that are proposed, with the developer stating that the new development will limit water use to no more than 110 litres per person a day.
The latest plans will be considered by the district council, which will make a decision on whether the revised proposals for the development can go ahead.
