A Littleport amateur theatre company was awarded best pantomime at a regional awards ceremony.
The Little Players were nominated for the accolade at the National Operatic and Dramatic Association Regional Awards Ceremony (NODA) for their production of Alice in Wonderland in December.
They were up against fellow local theatre groups, Waterbeach Theatre Company, and Bunbury Players, Mildenhall.
Becky Smith, Producer at Littleport Players said: “Competition for this award is notoriously fierce as our neighbouring theatre companies also manage to put-on top-quality panto productions every year.
“When Littleport Players were announced as the winners, we were shocked, but very excited. There’s so much time, effort and care that goes into putting on a show from our production team and cast, so it’s wonderful to have that official recognition.”
The Littleport Players have previously won the best technical award.
The company are busy in the studio rehearsing for their next production, a strictly adults-only pantomime, 'Mother Goose – Cracks One Off!'.
As well as rude jokes you can also find some catchy pop songs, questionable dancing and even some romance.
Littleport Players presents Liam Mellor's Mother Goose – Cracks One Off at Littleport Village Hall, Friday, May 31 & Saturday, Jun 1 at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £10 (+booking fee) and can be purchased online.
