The cause of a lorry fire on Friday afternoon (December 8) has been confirmed.
A crew from Cambridge along with the South Roaming Fire Engine was called to a lorry fire on Histon Road in Cottenham at 2:38pm.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used hose reels to extinguish a skip lorry fire before returning to their stations by 4.30pm.
“The cause of the fire was accidental.”
