The City of Ely Swimming Club is celebrating the incredible success of two of their brightest young swimmers and siblings, who took home 26 medals between them at a recent meet.
The Schultz family will need to find extra space at home for all the medals after Jacob, 11, and Lyra, 9, stormed to victory at Team Luton Swimming Club's Autumn Short Course Meet on October 21/22.
Five sets of siblings competed for Ely at the swim meet, including brothers Oli Davey, 13, and Dexter Davey, 9, who took home an equally impressive 13 medals.
City of Ely Swimming Club took a squad of 25 to Luton to compete in a variety of events across the weekend, picking up a staggering 79 medals, including 29 gold and silver and 21 bronze.

A spokesperson for the City of Ely Swimming Club said: "In total, the Ely team secured 100 personal best times, a great achievement by all that took part and a significant number as the club celebrates its 100th year this year."
There were also top performances from 10-year-old Peony Jackson, securing 13 top 3 positions and 13-year-old Oliver Fuller with 12 top 3 positions.

Competing for Ely were siblings Jacob and Lyra, Oli and Dexter, Bella and Madeleine, Cillian and Shea, Erin-Mae and Lola, along with Gabriel, Oliver, Josh, Peony, Isabella, Xanthe, Felicity, Olivia, Emily, Alex, Lauren, Tia, Gracie, Keira and Phil.
