The cause of a car fire in a village on Sunday morning (October 8) has been confirmed.
A crew from Littleport was called to a fire in the open in the village on Hale Drove at 6:22am.
A spokesperson from Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said: Firefighters arrived to find a car on fire in a ditch.
“Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire before returning to their station by 7.42am.
“The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate.”
