Viva Arts and Community Group is delighted to announce their upcoming production of Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Nile, with shows starting tomorrow (September 12) and continuing until September 16.

The production coincides with the International Agatha Christie Festival and is brought to you by the talented cast and crew of Viva members who have performed 160 productions since 1997, including at the Edinburgh Fringe.

A spokesperson for Viva Arts said: “Passengers (Audience) are encouraged to attend in their finest cruise attire to join wealthy heiress, Kay Ridgeway, as she honeymoons aboard the Lotus paddle-steamer on the Nile.

“Everyone aboard bears Kay a grudge and, whilst the surroundings are idyllic, fatal circumstances await as one of them is brutally murdered. As the tension builds, passenger Canon Pennefather investigates and ultimately unfolds a shocking conspiracy. Can you work it out before he does?”

Written in 1944, Murder on the Nile is based on Agatha Christie’s 1937 novel, Death on the Nile.
