A man is in hospital in a critical condition following a serious collision on the A14.
The crash involving a black Vauxhall Corsa and an HGV happened at about 4.50am today (Tuesday August 29) near Chippenham.
Ambulance crews attended, and the man in his 30s, who was driving the Vauxhall, was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital with serious injuries.
The road was closed while the vehicles were recovered.

A 33-year-old man from Kent was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst disqualified and remains in custody.
Cambridgeshire Police are appealing for information following the incident and urge anyone who witnessed the collision to call 101 and ask to speak to a member of the Road Policing Unit, quoting Op Clements.
