A man has been jailed after running at another man with two knives while threatening to kill him.
Billy Parlour, 32, was seen fighting with the man in Saffron Close, Littleport, at about 2pm on May 6.
He ran at the victim with a knife in each hand while threatening to kill him.
The victim tried to reason with Parlour, who still had both knives still in his hands and was shouting.
They continued to brawl and shout, with Parlour threatening to break the victim’s nose.
Officers arrived at the scene and arrested Parlour.
On August 9, Parlour, of York Way, Thetford, Norfolk, was jailed for a year and one month, having pleaded guilty to two counts of threatening a person with a blade in a public place.
Parlour also pleaded guilty to a count of theft after he stole beer from the Co-op, in Littleport, on April 13.
DC Lauren Clarke said: “Tackling knife crime is a force priority so we will always seek to bring people who threaten people with knives to justice.
“Parlour’s behaviour that day was appalling and dangerous so I am pleased he has faced justice.”
