More than 2,500 people attended Haddenham’s annual beer festival this year on the village’s recreation ground.
The festival, which ran from Friday, June 30 until Sunday, July 2, has been described by organisers as a “massive success” after it drew in a record number of residents.
Those who visited the beer festival were able to try a variety of food, more than 70 barrels of local beers and ciders, as well as a selection of drinks from the festival’s gin, Pimm's and prosecco bar.
New this year was a popular mocktail bar which supplied a range of alcohol-free alternatives.
A spokesperson for Haddenham Beer Festival said: “Being a family friendly event there was plenty of entertainment laid on with bands playing through from Friday night all the way through to closing time on Sunday.
“Children were happily entertained with a range of stalls, bouncy castles, Punch & Judy shows and their own magic carpet rides.”
They added: “The weather played its part with the rain holding off until the party was over.
“As the music played out and the sun went down on a beautiful Sunday evening, those remaining on site pulled together with the rest of the volunteers to dismantle the site back into the recreation field.”
The Haddenham Beer Festival is all run by volunteers with all the proceeds and sponsorships raised over the event being used to support local groups and charities and to make sure the festival can go ahead for 2024.
