One of Cambridgeshire’s largest farming enterprises is holding an open farm day event next weekend.
G’s of Barway is welcoming families to their site for free as part of open farm Sunday on June 11 from 10am until 4pm.
Those who attend will be able to try out some of the farming machinery on display and there will also be a farmers’ market featuring local produce, food, drink and crafts.
There will be live entertainment, farm tours, woodland walks and tractor trailer rides on offer and individuals can learn about the impact farming has on our daily lives.
A spokesperson for G’s of Barway said: “This year we have expanded some of the education and environmental zones so there are even more things for visitors to see.
“We have some great local craft and food stalls as well as the family favourite tractor and trailer tours and loads of other shows and activities.”
They added: “We have a number of local dignitaries attending too.”
