A family has paid tribute to a “much loved father” who died following a collision on the A142 near Soham last week (April 6). 

Joshua Bendall, 40, of Barway Road, Soham, was riding his Kawaski motorcycle when it was involved in a collision with a Volvo XC90 at the junction with Northfields Road at about 9pm. 

In tribute to Joshua, his family said: “Josh was a much-loved father to three wonderful children. 

“All of his family and friends are heartbroken by his death, and his loss leaves a large hole in our hearts. 

“We believe that he is now in God’s love and keeping.”

A 56-year-old woman from Soham was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. 

She has since been released on bail until May 10.
