Motorists using a key route in Cambridgeshire are expected to face delays today [Tuesday] owing to repainting.

A142 – Ely to Chatteris 

Multi-way signals will be in place between Ely and Chatteris until March 10 to refresh white lining along this stretch of road. 

A1 - Brampton

One lane is closed near the Brampton Hut Interchange on the A1/A14 junction due to a broken down vehicle.

A10 - Denny End Road, Waterbeach/A142 - Soham Road, Stuntney/A605 - Eastrea Road, Whittlesey

Temporary traffic lights are in place, which could cause delays to journeys.

A428 - St Neots to Caxton Gibbet

Traffic is moving slowly along this route.

Stirtloe Lane – Buckden   

The road will be closed both ways to all motor vehicles until March 8 due to works by Anglian Water.   

Gull Drove – Guyhirn   

The road will be closed both ways to all motor vehicles until March 9 due to works by Anglian Water.   

Market Hill - Cambridge 

Closed to all motor vehicles until March 9 due to works by Cambridge Water. 

Oldhurst Road – Pidley 

The road will be closed both ways to all motor vehicles until March 10 due to works by Cambridge Water. 

Motorists should expect delays. 

Darthill Road - March         

The road will be closed to all motor vehicles until March 10 between 8am and 6pm daily due to works by Cadent Gas.         

Robingoodfellows Lane - March         

This road is closed to all motor vehicles until March 10 due to works by Cadent Gas. 

B1514 St John's Street and Nursery Road - Huntingdon Ring Road      

Night work to resurface the B1514 Main Street and Longstaff Way, Hartford, is scheduled until March 11.     

The B1514 between George Street and Great Northern Street will be closed.  

Diversions will be in place; businesses and residents in the area who will be affected by the work have been notified by letter.  

This work is being carried out by Cambridgeshire County Council.     

Forty Foot Bank – Chatteris to Ramsey 

The road will be closed from today due to urgent safety repairs work, and the road is due to reopen by the end of next week. 

East Street - St Ives 

The road is closed to all motor vehicles until March 20 between 6pm and 6am due to works by Openreach. 

A1101 Mildenhall Road - Littleport         

The road will be closed to all motor vehicles until April 7 for works. 

Broad Street – March   

The road will be closed to all motor vehicles until April 28 between 8am and 6pm daily, weekdays only, due to works by Cadent Gas.   

Church Road - Buckworth 

Closed both ways to all motor vehicles until May 16 due to works by Anglian Water.
