Rail strikes continue again today (Thursday, January 5) affecting many services passing through Cambridgeshire, with some train operators running no services at all.

Heavy traffic present on various routes into the city this morning affecting A1134 Queens Road, A603 Barton Road, A1134 Barnwell Road, A1309 Hauxton Road, and A1307 Babraham Road.
Thameslink and Great Northern
Due to ASLEF strike action, no trains will be running all day.
The Avenue - Leighton Bromswold
Closed both ways to all motor vehicles until January 6 due to works by Anglian Water.
Pymoor Lane – Pymoor
The road will be closed both ways until January 6 due to works by Anglian Water.
Flecks Lane - Shingay cum Wendy
Closed both ways to all motor vehicles on January 6 between 7am and 7pm for carriageway works.
Redmoor Bank – Elm
The road will be closed both ways to all motor vehicles between January 9-11 due to works by Anglian Water.
Tinkers Lane – Kingston
The road will be closed both ways to all motor vehicles between January 9-12 due to works by Cambridge Water.
Portugal Street – Cambridge
The road will be closed to all motor vehicles between January 9-13 due to works by UK Power Networks.
Worts Causeway – Cambridge
The road will be closed to all motor vehicles between January 9 until March 5 due to works by Cambridge Water.
Murrow Bank – Murrow
The road will be closed both ways to all motor vehicles between January 9-25 for works.
Denny End Road – Waterbeach
The road will be closed both ways to all motor vehicles between January 9 until February 24 between 8am and 5pm daily for works.
Hamerton Road – Buckworth
The road will be closed both ways to all motor vehicles until February 1 due to works by Anglian Water.
