ANTHONY ERNEST FRANK SCOTT 89 years of Baird Lodge, Ely (previously of Meadow Way, Mepal), passed away peacefully at Addenbrookes Hospital on the 7th of May 2016 after a short illness. Loving husband to Kathleen Scott (passed August 2013) and father to Kevin and Julian Scott. He served in the Royal Engineers from 1945 - 1947 and following National Service became a Civil Servant until his retirement. Known best throughout the Cambridge music scene as the drummer and a founder member of the Cambridge Riverside Jazz Band, he also spent over a decade with Amadeus Boldwickets Red Hot Peppers Jazz Band. Fittingly, Tony finished his musical career where he started it, with the Riverside, retiring from regular performances only 5 years ago. The funeral service will be held at Cambridge Crematorium, Huntingdon Road, Cambridge at 2.30pm on Friday the 27th of May. All Welcome. Please make any charitable donations to Help Musicians UK (Musicians Benevolent Fund).Your tribute has been received.
